The Proverbs Advantage is a powerful, principle-based approach to life and business, rooted in the wisdom of Solomon. It helps individuals grow wealth, lead with clarity, and make decisions guided by timeless truth.
The Mind of a Marketer. The Heart of a Shepherd. A Life Poured Out in Wisdom.
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2
Who Am I?
I’m a marketer by skill, a teacher by design, and a shepherd by calling.
But above all, I am a steward.
Everything I have—my time, my talents, my resources, my relationships, and my influence—belongs to God. And it is my mission to use it all to help others live, lead, and build wisely.
That’s why The Proverbs 12X Advantage exists.
But if you really want to understand why I do what I do…
You need to know the path that shaped the steward behind the system.
A Life Shaped by Proverbs
I didn’t just study Proverbs.
I devoured it.
I read it daily. Monthly. Over and over again.
More than 350–400 times. Always from the King James Bible.
It became more than a book to me. It became a blueprint.
A spiritual operating system for how to live, love, lead, and build.
When I say “Wisdom is the principal thing,” it’s not a slogan. It’s my survival story.
A Calling Forged in Fire
I’ve known success. I’ve grown businesses.
In my 20s, I built a company from $8K to $1 million in revenue in less than 12 months.
But I’ve also known failure.
Three years later, the business collapsed—leaving both me and my partner $100,000 in debt.
That same month, my wife was diagnosed with cancer.
It was the first of seven to eight battles with cancer over the next two decades of our life together.
While raising a family, building new ventures, and serving in ministry, I had to lead under pressure, make decisions in the dark, and walk by faith when nothing made sense.
What held me together?
That’s where this system was born. Not in a classroom—but in the crucible.
The Mind of a Marketer
I’ve spent decades in sales, marketing, and business development—consulting with entrepreneurs, coaching professionals, and building campaigns that convert.
I’ve learned what makes people move. What causes them to trust.
And what separates those who scale from those who stay stuck.
As Claude Hopkins said, “The competent advertising man must understand psychology. The more he knows about it, the better.”
But wisdom has taught me that persuasion without principle is manipulation.
And success without stewardship is a trap.
So while I use marketing strategies, direct-response tactics, and copywriting frameworks…
I use them in submission to Scripture, not in competition with it.
The Heart of a Shepherd
I’ve spent over 30 years teaching the Bible, serving the church, and counseling people from all walks of life.
I’ve pastored. I’ve preached. I’ve discipled. I’ve wept.
I’ve seen what happens when men abandon their families.
I’ve seen the wreckage of poor choices, foolish relationships, and shallow faith.
I’ve seen what happens when leaders fall because no one taught them how to walk in wisdom.
As Spurgeon once said, “A Bible that’s falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t.”
That’s why I write.
That’s why I build systems.
That’s why I created Proverbs 12X.
Not to impress. But to instruct. To shepherd. To serve.
My heart breaks for believers who are saved but struggling—people who love God but still make foolish decisions in life, business, and relationships because they lack wisdom.
Why I Quote the Dead
In my writing and teaching, you’ll find constant references to dead saints—the Puritans, Reformers, and early preachers of church history.
Why?
Because our generation is drowning in shallow thought, emotional preaching, and cotton-candy theology.
I quote the dead because they’re still speaking, and they have nothing to gain from you.
Men like Thomas Watson, John Owen, J.C. Ryle, Stephen Charnock, and Jonathan Edwards taught truth without compromise—and my hope is that modern readers will search them out and grow in wisdom as I have.
CYOEN: Stewarding Time, Talent, and Treasure
While Proverbs 12X focuses on wisdom for the whole person, I also created another platform to help believers apply that wisdom in wealth-building and business strategy.
It’s called CYOEN:
The C.R.E.A.T.E. Framework
At the center of CYOEN is a 6-step system designed to help you Create Your Own Economy Now—not one day, not someday, but today.
Each step reflects a practical action powered by biblical stewardship. It’s how faith-driven entrepreneurs move from stuck and scattered to strategic and scalable.
Here’s how we do it:
And the ultimate goal of CYOEN?
To help you:
CYOEN is the marketplace application of Proverbs 12X.
It’s where wisdom meets execution. Faith meets systems. And calling meets cash flow.
Final Word: Why The Steward Matters
The Proverbs 12X Advantage isn’t about me.
But if you’re going to trust what I teach, you should know the heart behind it.
I’m not trying to be a guru.
I’m a steward.
A steward of:
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom…” — Proverbs 4:7
That’s my mission.
And I pray it becomes yours.
